Update planners with Agenda and HW

1. John Steinbeck Biography
   • Begin Video at 19 minutes in. It is already in the vhs player on the classroom television. Just turn on the t.v. and press "play" on the video to pick up where we left off. There is about 25 minutes left of the video.
   • Students should finish their yellow Cornell Notes and write a 3- 5 sentence summary after viewing.
   • The teacher may pause the video to explain or alert students of information they need to complete their notes.
   • Please collect students notes!
2. OMAM Chapter 1 Vocabulary:
   • Hand out the Chapter 1 word lists with the corresponding sentences and page numbers.
   • In Cornell Notes, students must copy the words from the list in the order they appear in the text beginning with "willows" p.1.
   • Students may use my copies of the definitions to complete their Cornell Notes.
   • Please stamp students notes who are staying on task and working (no stamps for goof offs!). The more stamps when I collect their notes on Wednesday, the better their score.
   • Collect all 20 of my copy of the definitions, STUDENTS MAY NOT KEEP THEM!! Please count to verify you have all 20 copies back.
   • All Ch 1 definitions are due Wed and may be completed using the website.
